Ordering Online with us is safe and secure!
We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure.
We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. If you wish, you may also send us a Postal Order (only) or a personal cheque. Personal cheques will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise.
Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping of your merchandise if paid by personal check. To order by cheque, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address at the top.
RETAIL RETURN/REFUND POLICY
Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If you are not satisfied with the goods and inform us within seven days of your receipt of the goods, we will give a full refund, provided the goods have been returned to us in a saleable condition. You are responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods. Alternatively we will exchange items if they are faulty on delivery to you and we are notified within 10 days of the customers receipt of the product. All products to be returned must be carefully repackaged in their original packing.
RETAIL DELIVERY INFORMATION
Shipping is normally within 2-3 working days from receipt of order. Delivery charges are calculated on a per-product basis. Please make note of the postal service selected and the delivery charges associated with each item.
Delivery for small orders is by Royal Mail 1st class post and for larger orders by DPD. Whilst we endeavour to ship orders to arrive on the requested delivery date we cannot guarantee the service provided by our shipping partners.
Goods are charged at the price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.
If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone, fax, e-mail or letter, then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days), confidentially, and effectively.
WHOLESALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Delivery is 5-10 working days for UK destinations by next day carrier.
Hamiltons Chocolates Ltd (HCL) cannot guarantee delivery within these times. Please e-mail if more than 3 days late.
HCL cannot be held liable, for any loss of order or revenue, due to the failure, for what ever reason, by HCL to deliver the goods ordered or part thereof.
HCL reserve the right to refund all or part of an order if the goods ordered are not available for dispatch within the above delivery times.
HCL reserve the right to change carrier at any time without notice.
HCL must be notified immediately upon receipt of the goods of any damage or defect. Damaged parcels should not be accepted from the carrier.
HCL will replace or refund any damaged or sub-standard goods, provided HCL have been notified as above.
HCL will only accept returns of unwanted stock if notified within 3 days of delivery and the outers are intact and unopened. The customer will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred by HCL in returning the goods.
The buyer is responsible for any local taxes and import charges.
Value Added Tax will be charged at the standard UK rate.
Invoices relating to goods supplied on credit must be settled in full within 28 days of the date of invoice.
HCL reserve the right to charge interest at 8% above HSBC base rate on all invoices not settled within the above term.
The buyer agrees to pay HCL the full amount (plus VAT where applicable) of all reasonable costs and expenses incurred in respect of the recovery of monies due where goods have been supplied on credit.
All goods remain the property of HCL until paid for in full.
The laws of the United Kingdom shall apply in the event of a dispute.
SERVICES AND CONDITIONS OF USE
As part of our service, we agree to provide you with information and other services that we may decide to offer, subject to the terms of this agreement. Upon notice published through the service, we may modify this agreement at any time. You agree and continue to agree to use our services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the policies and guidelines outlined below. Please note that you will be referred to as 'customer' in this agreement.

SPECIFICALLY, WE DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION: 1) ANY WARRANTIES CONCERNING THE AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY OR CONTENT OF INFORMATION, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES; AND 2) ANY WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

CUSTOMER SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THE SERVICE IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS OR THIRD-PARTIES AND THAT THE RISK OF INJURY FROM THE FOREGOING RESTS ENTIRELY WITH CUSTOMER.
NEITHER THE SERVICE NOR ANY OF ITS AGENTS, AFFILIATES OR CONTENT PROVIDERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USE OF THE SERVICE OR INABILITY TO GAIN ACCESS TO OR USE THE SERVICE OR OUT OF ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY.
