Hamiltons and JK Rowling

Hamiltons sweet shop in Broadway is used by the BBC to film sweets and chocolates to be featured in their documetary on JK Rowling "Harry Potter and Me"

"There were shelves upon shelves of the most succulent looking sweets imaginable, creamy chunks of nougat, shimmering pink squares of coconut ice, fat honey coloured toffee's and hundreds of different chocolates in neat rows" is an extract from Harry Potter but also a fair description of Hamiltons old fashioned sweet shop in Broadway.

With over 120 variaties of boiled sweets, fudge and toffees, 13 flavours of chocolate truffles and 26 flavours of fruit, liqueur and praline creams (All in neat rows), it was no surprise when the BBC asked to come and film in our shop during the making of their documentary on JK Rowling, "Harry Potter and Me". If ever there was a real life Honeydukes then it is surely Hamiltons in Broadway.
